FSCI translated the instruction manual “Bringing Sustainability into the Classrooms” for the teaching to the basics of Sustainable Development in secondary schools and a brochure on “Earth Charter” from Russian into Tajik. These documents were presented at the national ecological training seminar of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Tajikistan on 9 April 2008. These documents can be found on the FSCI website in the “Publication” section.
On 9 April 2008, 65 copies of the instruction manual “Bringing Sustainability into the Classrooms” were distributed in Tajik and Russian to secondary school teachers and university instructors at the National Ecological seminar of the Ministry of Education. The instruction manuals were given to secondary school biology teachers and to the instructors of the environmental studies department of the Tajik National University.
