FSCI is the executive partner in the implementation of the first phase of the project on showcasing follow up actions towards the combat desertification and the improvement in land resources management in southwestern Tajikistan. The project is supposed to last from April 2007 to April 2011.
The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Tajikistan signed a contract agreement with the public organization of the Republic of Tajikistan “Foundation to Support Civic Initiatives in Tajikistan” as its executive partner. The purpose of the contract is to provide services for conducting training workshops on raising public awareness and for collaborative planning for the Land Degradation Unit of Jamoat “Nuri Vakhsh” (Jilikul, Khatlon region, Tajikistan).
