Training on international water law for workers and specialists from governmental agencies and NGOs

Training on international water law for workers and specialists of state institutions and NGOs of Tajikistan was held in Dushanbe on 15-16 November 2011. The training was organized by the Ministry of Melioration and Water Resources of the Republic of Tajikistan with the support of the OSCE office in the country. As the lead trainer the international expert on water law, professor at the University of Dundee (Scotland) S.Vinogradov was invited. It is assumed that short-term courses on international water law will be widely held among students of higher educational institution. “Poverty and the Environment in Tajikistan”, Working Meeting on Developing the information strategy for the project

Working meeting on the project “Poverty and the Environment in Tajikistan” was held in Dushanbe on November 11, 2011. The project “Poverty and the Environment” is carried out under the support of the UNDP and UNEP in Sughd region of the Tajik Republic. The purpose of the meeting was to develop a communications strategy for highlighting the problems of poverty and the environment in Tajikistan and theirs solutions among the public and all interested parties. FSCI representative was invited to the meeting on this project.
