The project “Strengthening Public Participation and Civil Society Support to implementation of Aarhus Convention” funded by the European Union, TACIS program, is operating in the Central Asian countries. Project negotiation in the Republic of Tajikistan took place in the Aarhus-Centre in the Dushanbe city.

The National Coordination Committee (NCC) of the Republic of Tajikistan on the project realization was established by the order of the Tajik Ministry of Agriculture and Nature Protection. The NCC consists of 6 members – officials’ persons of the Ministry responsible for ecological issues and two Tajik NGOs leaders (FSCI and Youth 21 Century).
