Collection on Positive Cases has combined the best practices of Central Asian NGOs activities in achieving goals of the sustainable development. The countryекта coordinator of competition of the best practices of the public participation of the Republic of Tajikistan was the Chair of FSCI, the member of the Secretariat of the Central Asia Public Council on Sustainable Development.
- The two-day consultative meeting among the Central-Asian environmental NGO leaders took place on18-19 January, 2008 in the Dushanbe suburb (Varzob region). The main objective of the meeting was to strengthen collaboration with the UN Commission on Sustainable Development (UN CSD). The representative of FSCI was invited to this meeting.
- The project “Strengthening Public Participation and Civil Society Support to implementation of Aarhus Convention” funded by the European Union, TACIS program, is operating in the Central Asian countries. Project negotiation in the Republic of Tajikistan took place in the Aarhus-Centre in the Dushanbe city.
