International scientific-practical conference “An integrated approach to the use and processing of coal” was held in Dushanbe, June 5-7

The organizers of the conference were: the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tajikistan (RT), Ministry of Energy and Industry of RT, Department of Chemistry and Materials Science of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS), Department of Chemistry, Moscow State University, Russian Cooperation Office in Tajikistan, etc. The participants of the conference were presented by scientists of the Institute of Chemistry, Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, CIS countries (Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia), leading members of the ministries involved in the development of the coal industry in the Tajikistan.

Representatives of the Committee on Environmental Protection under the Government of Tajikistan, Department of Science, engineering and technology, environment of the Ministry of Energy and Industry of RT did not accept in the conference. The representative of FSCI was invited from the public environmental sector, which made a presentation “Environmental problems of the use of coal in Tajikistan”.
