The results of the first stage of studies of mercury pollution in the Tajikistan for August – October of 2012, held by FSCI
The project activity SGP / GEF / UNDP with advice and financial support of GRID / Arendal and IPEN «Promoting the environmental policy of Tajikistan in order to reduce mercury pollution and the protection of human health” was aimed at the study of the most important components of mercury pollution. They are: pollution of waste mining companies, assessment of exposure to sources of mercury releases to the environment and human health, raids the points of reception of energy saving lamps in Dushanbe.
