The Government of Tajikistan signed up to the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI)

November 13, 2012 the Branch office of the International Organization of Open Society Institute Assistance Foundation in the Republic of Tajikistan in partnership with the World Bank, the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) and the Ministry of Finance held a workshop on the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) to government officials, companies in the extractive industries and civil society organizations. The purpose of the seminar: Statement of the Government of Tajikistan to join the Extractive Industries Transparency Initiative (EITI) and the involvement of government, public, private, international organizations to the implementation of the EITI in Tajikistan. FSCI, as a legal person is a member of the Coalition of civil society organizations “Transparency for Development”, which is part of the EITI.
