Introductory seminar “Mobilizing resources for the management of chemicals, hazardous waste and nanotechnology” (Dushanbe, 1 February, 2014)

Introductory seminar brought together representatives of stakeholders involved in the issues of chemicals management in Tajikistan: MFA, Environmental Commission of the Parliament, the Ministry of Health, Committee on Environmental Protection (CEP) under the Government of RT, Academy of Sciences (AS), Institute of Water Resources, Hydropower and Ecology, environmental NGOs. Project is realizing under UNITAR financial and advisory support, cooperation of NGO “Youth – 21” (coordinator of the project) with institutions of AS and CEP of RT. FSCI representative took part in the seminar, informed the participants about FSCI activity on SAICM, were distributed developed by FSCI calendars to 2014 “Be informed about hazardous chemicals. Read the labels!”.
