Development of the program on solid industrial and household waste products management began in the Dushanbe city

Necessity of reforming of system of sanitary clearing of Dushanbe city from solid industrial and household waste products for a long time has ripened and in anybody does not cause doubt. For the effective decision of a complex of the collected problems in sphere of the manipulation with waste products the administration of Dushanbe city has concluded the Memorandum of mutual understanding with the European Bank of Development and Reconstruction and has signed the contract on rendering of consulting services with Swedish firm SWECO International. NGO «Foundation to support civil initiatives» it is chosen as the local expert organization under the analysis of an existing condition of management of solid waste products of Dushanbe city. On December 13, 2006 the organizational seminar in Dushanbe devoted to opening of the project has taken place.
