National Review of “Towards a green economy in Tajikistan” (Rio +20)

Presentation of the National Review “Towards a green economy in Tajikistan” was held in Dushanbe on 8 May. The Review, dedicated to the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (Rio +20), was prepared by a team of experts from key ministries and departments under the Ministry of Land Reclamation and Water Resources of Tajikistan. To the workshop, supported by UNDP, were invited representatives of government agencies, international organizations, environmental public organizations, including FSCI.

National Workshop on Sustainable Land Management

National Workshop on Sustainable Land Management was held in Dushanbe on10 May 2012. The workshop was next step in the road to develop of the integrated financial strategy for the sustainable land resources management of the Tajik republic. This strategy realized in the Central Asia through a regional project to enhance the capacity of the parties involved in land management. FSCI representative participated in the workshop and gave the presentation on the problems of reducing land degradation and desertification in the documents of the UN Conference Rio +20 and the positions of Tajik ecological NGOs on these issues.
