The FSCI research project, “Dushanbe City: The Program of Environmental Management” has been acknowledged as the best national project of the Republic of Tajikistan and granted the Energy Globe World Award for Sustainability

The project was developed by FSCI in 2004-2005. The program “Dushanbe City: The program of environmental management” won a prestigious international competition the, “World Award for Sustainability, 2006″ launched by the Energy Globe in 2007. The project has become one of the best national projects on the republic. The FSCI chairperson was not able to attend the award ceremony that was held at the European Parliament in Brussels. The broadcast of the ceremony and the certificate, signed by the President of the European Parliament, leader of International Energy Globe Jury, President of Energy Globe–was sent to the FSCI office.
