In the Central Asia countries since 2008 year the network partner project “Strengthening of a network of a civil society concerning land degradation and problems of poverty in a context of strategic development programs and the UN Convention on combat desertification” (Drynet project) is carried out. The lead organization coordinating this project, acts Dutch NGO – Both ENDs. On March, 4-7th 2009 in Almaty took place a regional seminar on an exchange of experience of the created network partners where was invited the representative of FSCI. 14 partners participate in realization of the Drynet network project from 22 countries: the Netherlands, France, Germany, Brazil, Chile, Bolivia, Mauritania, the republic of South Africa, Senegal, Madagascar, Morocco, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, India, Pakistan, Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan. Coordination of project works in the Central-Asian region carries out Regional Ecological Center; the partner organization from Tajikistan is FSCI.
