Anniversary event on the 10th anniversary of the Regional Environmental Center for Central Asia (CAREC)

Program of the anniversary of CAREC, which took place on July 20-22, 2011, was rich and diverse. Much attention was paid to consultations with CAREC stakeholders. They were the founders, the Board of Governors of CAREC and its affiliates in the Central Asian countries, international organizations, heads of the REC for Central and Eastern Europe, Moldova, Russia, NGOs and the media. At the anniversary meeting was held a subregional workshop devoted to the activities of the international information network Drynet. FSCI representative, who is an expert of CAREC projects in Tajikistan: Drynet and Local Environmental Management program, participated in the workshop and anniversary celebrations.
