The 7th Ministerial Conference “Environment for Europe” was held in Astana (Kazakhstan) on 21-23 September 2011. The Conference was held in the year of the 20th anniversary of the process “Environment for Europe”.

The Conference brought together over 1500 participants from governments in Europe and other countries, civil society, business and media. The purpose of the Conference – a discussion of two main themes: “Sustainable management of water resources and aquatic ecosystems” and “Greening the economy: environment-oriented economic development”. FSCI representative was invited to attend the Conference of the European Eco-Forum.
