The implementation of the training program of the project “Strengthening national capacity in the field of implementation and ratification of Conventions on Chemicals and waste in Tajikistan”

The implementation of the training program of the project “Strengthening national capacity in the field of implementation and ratification of Conventions on Chemicals and waste in Tajikistan” began with the development of training modules and information materials for conducting trainings and seminars for various target audiences.

Target audiences include: representatives of government agencies involved in the issues of sustainable management of agricultural products, civil society, NGOs, the private sector, farmers, universities, researchers, and other stakeholders.

From December 2021 to April 2022, informational seminars on chemicals and waste management were held with two key ministries: the Customs Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan (Khujand, December 14, 2021), the Ministry of Agriculture (Dushanbe, 02/18/2022), Khujand State University (Khujand, 12/15/2021), with 7 organizations civil society in the cities of the districts of republican subordination and the Khatlon region of the Republic of Tatarstan (Dushanbe, Varzob, Vakhdat, Faizabad, Lyakhsh, Javan, Balkhi).
