National Seminar “On the way to the International Year of Water Cooperation “The role of international law, including UN / ECE Convention on transboundary waters”, to strengthen cooperation among States to manage water resources”

National Seminar was held in Dushanbe on March 14-15, 2011. within the framework of the UN ECE-GIZ “Regional dialogue

and cooperation on water resources management” with the support of Switzerland. Seminar was attended by leading officials of the Foreign Ministry, Ministry of Land Reclamation and Water Resources, national experts on water issues, international organizations, the environmental commission Machlisi Namoyandagon, NGOs and the press media. The representative of FSCI was invited by the expert team of the UN / ECE to this meeting.
