Discussion on DDT and other pesticides in agriculture and in household use was hold on the Republican TV, 1-st television channel (Dushanbe, 24 December 2008)

TV round table was organized by FSCI on partnership with Eco-Accord Association (Russia) in the frame of the sub-regional plan on chemical security activities. The group of senior staff of the Tajik Ministry of agriculture, Ministry of Nature Protection, Academy of Agriculture Sciences, NGO has conducted discussion on TV, which was addressing two issues: DDT negative impact on health and environment, ways to substitute pesticides in agriculture (alternative methods).
